There are many chestnut hometowns in China, such as Long'an County in Nanning, Guangxi, Qianxi in Hebei, Luotian in Hubei, Zunhua in Hebei, Huairou in Beijing, Kuancheng Manchu Autonomous County, etc. are all hometowns of chestnuts. The most famous among them is Qianxi chestnut. Qianxi chestnut has been recognized as a well-known trademark in China by the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce. Qianxi County has a thousand-year chestnut cultivation history and a century-old export history. Qianxi chestnuts were exported to Japan as early as before the founding of the People's Republic of China. In June 1990, Qianxi chestnut was designated as a trademark product by the 11th Asian Games Organizing Committee, the Ministry of Forestry, and the Ministry of Agriculture. In 1995, Qianxi was named the "Hometown of Chinese Chestnuts" by the organizing committee of the first batch of Chinese specialty home naming activities.
