Growth and reproduction of Chinese cobra
Many zoos keep a small number of Chinese cobras for viewing, but most of them can't survive the winter, and they are caught in the wild the next year. Some snake farms are also raised, but few can successfully breed the next generation and raise it for a long time, so as to artificially breed the population. It's usually used to buy things caught in the wild.

Cobra lays eggs, mating in May and June, and laying 7- 19 eggs in July and August. Egg length is 42-54 mm, short diameter is 26-3 1 mm, and incubation period is 1.5-2 months. The newly hatched snake is about 200 mm long.
