In the thirteenth year of Zhenguan, I was eight years old, and on the third day of September, when I was in my prime, Chen Xuanda explained the master, and gathered 1,200 eminent monks, all of whom performed wonderful classics at the Huasheng Temple in Chang 'an. This is the description in the book. Master Xuanzang started his journey to learn from the scriptures in this temple. However, in history, Master Xuanzang began in Chang 'an Shenyi, so if there is such a temple in history, it should be in Chang 'an Shenyi, now Xi 'an.
