The probability of double narwhals appearing is only 2%. Generally, at the age of 1-2, narwhals will begin to grow long teeth, most of which are left teeth. Their own teeth are completely degenerated and disappeared, leaving only two teeth in the upper jaw, which will continue to grow as time goes on, piercing the lips and protruding straight, with a maximum length of 3 meters, which is equivalent to half the length of the body.

Appearance characteristics of double narwhals

In fact, the narwhal is not much different from the narwhal except that it has two horns. The narwhal that has not been weaned is a bit like an all-black beluga whale, but its snout is very short, and it has no dorsal fin. The tip of its tail is slightly buckled. The color of the adult narwhal will gradually turn white and be covered with black spots. Until the old age, the whole body will almost become pure white, and only the top of its head and fins will appear slightly black.

The double narwhal is only a special species of narwhal, most of which will spiral, and only a few will grow in a curved way. At present, most male narwhals have double teeth, and only one female narwhal has double teeth according to records.
