Goose fatty liver is the main product of Lande Goose. Each liver produces about 750 grams, which is in short supply in the international market. Unsaturated fatty acids in foie gras account for about 67% of total fat. Regular consumption of unsaturated fatty acids can alleviate and delay atherosclerosis. The feed/meat ratio of Lande Goose was1.5:1under grazing conditions, and it was 2.5:1under grazing conditions. Feeding pigs with the same feed, the ratio of meat to feed is 3.7∶ 1. To produce the same weight of meat, the feed consumption of geese is only 1/2 of that of chickens and ducks and 1/9 of that of pigs. Therefore, goose is the first choice for the structural adjustment of aquaculture.
