Taihe chicken, one of black-bone chicken breeds
Taihe chicken is also known as fluffy chicken, tufted chicken and shredded bamboo chicken. The chicken is native to Taihe County, Jiangxi Province, China, and is currently considered as a standard variety in the world. The chicken moves slowly, and the adult chicken has strong adaptability to the environment and less illness. Young chicks are small, weak and have poor stress resistance, which should be paid attention to in feeding management. Taihe chicken also has the characteristics of timidity and quietness, lively nature, strong gregarious nature, wide variety of eating habits and strong embrace.
