Anthurium andraeanum, formerly known as Anthurium andraeanum, is a perennial evergreen herb of Anthurium in Araceae. Anthurium leaves are oval, heart-shaped and bright green; Buddha's bud is shiny, leathery and scarlet; Inflorescence cylindrical, slightly recurved. Golden yellow, milky white at the base, and both male and female flowers are sessile. ,。 Conditions are suitable for flowering all year round. The flowers are unique, with flaming inflorescences, bright colors and rich colors. Every flower has a long flowering period, and the color of the flower changes greatly. Inflorescences wither from bud leaves to flowers, and the colors range from beige to ivory, finally to green, and then to yellow before withering. Foliate bracts have high ornamental value, and the common colors are red, pink and white.
1. hydroponic method
(1) The seedlings of Anthurium andraeanum cultivated in soil were transformed into hydroponic flower plants by root washing. Because Anthurium andraeanum is mostly potted with peat, coconut bran and so on. It is difficult to clean the dark brown attachment on the root hair at one time, so it is forbidden to scrub or trim the root system forcibly to prevent the plants from wilting due to root injury.
(2) After field planting, clean water 1 3 of the root system is injected for culture, and the clean water is changed every 2-3 days/time. When the water roots grow to more than 4cm, cultivate with nutrient solution, change the nutrient solution every 10- 15 days, and wash the roots frequently to keep the roots clean. Keep it in a well-lit place. When the light is insufficient, the leaves become longer and the bracts are not waxy enough, which reduces the ornamental value.
(3) In summer, direct sunlight should be prevented to avoid burning leaves, burning leaves, fading buds and slow growth of leaves. At the same time, water should be sprayed on leaves frequently to increase air humidity. In the growing season, many small sucking buds will germinate at the roots, which will compete for the nutrition of the mother plant and affect the plant shape, so the buds can be drained as soon as possible. The picture shows Anthurium hydroponicum.
2. Maintenance guide
(1) temperature and illumination The suitable temperature for the growth of Anthurium andraeanum is 25-30℃. If the temperature is lower than 13℃, freezing injury will occur. Anzuhua prefers scattered light to direct light.
(2) At the initial growth stage of Anthurium andraeanum, change the water every 2-3 days. When the water roots grow to 2cm long, change the water every 10 ~ 15 days. When changing water, wash the roots and keep them clean to prevent rot. In hot summer, you can change the water once every seven days.
(3) Adding nutrient solution when applying fertilizer and changing water for Anthurium andraeanum. Because there is a layer of wax on the leaves of Anthurium andraeanum, the foliar fertilizer is not easy to absorb. This problem can be solved by increasing the number of water changes and increasing the concentration of nutrient solution in the water during the growing period. [Jishan Huayao]
(4) The pest control of Anthurium andraeanum is mainly affected by leaf spot, root rot, nematodes, red spiders, aphids, scale insects, snails and other pests. Water stains can be seen on the back of flowers and leaves in the early stage of leaf spot, and brown spots appear on the edge in the later stage. Once found, the infected leaves should be removed immediately to prevent the spread. Root rot is mostly caused by immersing the root system in water, and the root system of 1/3 can only be immersed in water by hydroponics of Anthurium andraeanum. The best way to control pests is to catch them manually. When pests are found, they should be removed immediately and observed for signs of recurrence at any time.
