Up to now, the locals still use hand-made methods, such as stone mortar and big wooden hammer, several strong men beating them in turn, and at the same time, another person keeps turning over the glutinous rice balls added to Qingai. The whole process is steaming, and it takes 20 minutes.

Fourth, cut pieces of pine flowers

The pine flowers here play a role similar to the flour sprinkled during the interview.

Put the beaten green balls on a table covered with pine flowers, slowly roll them flat, and quickly cut them into squares or diamonds. This has become the "numbness" of Ningbo's population. Generally, the finished product is 10 cm square, with a thickness of one centimeter, and the taste is slightly salty or sweet, which varies from place to place.

Fifth, from the hemp to the golden ball, the golden ball is actually a hemp with stuffing. The stuffing is mainly made of flour ground from fried soybeans, sesame powder and brown sugar, and some stuffing with bean paste is also used.
