What's the difference between tempeh and bean paste anyway?
Tempeh and soy sauce are completely different.

The tempeh is made from soybeans, which is a semi-finished product for making soy sauce, fermented and then dried and made. The color is mostly black, but there are individual production process adding ginger is golden yellow.
