But in fact, koi fish doesn't need such complicated equipment, so fish tanks are prone to grow moss. The way to prevent moss is to clean the fish tank frequently. When cleaning the fish tank, take out the fish and don't pour out half the water. After cleaning the fish tank, pour it back. If you don't have time to clean the fish tank often, you can put the fish tank in a cool place, avoid direct sunlight, and paste wallpaper in a sunny place.

Third, don't plant aquatic plants.

Now those aquatic plants are very expensive. If koi fish is raised, the aquatic plants will be eaten soon, and the loss outweighs the gain. Moreover, it is easy to pollute the water quality by eating the remaining residue. My method is to raise aquatic plants in a separate basin and regularly put them into a fish tank to supplement nutrition.

Fourth, the control of water temperature

As mentioned earlier, koi fish can survive the cold winter, but its vitality is poor in winter. If the weather is particularly cold, pay attention to put some nutritious fish feed to supplement calories. If the weather is particularly hot, feed less food, clean the fish tank more and change more water. Pay attention to the water temperature when changing water. If koi fish is suddenly put into cold water, it will be difficult to adapt, so put the water in a basin to cool for a while, and then pour it into the bathtub when the water temperature and temperature are similar.

Koi fish is an omnivore, insects such as crickets and earthworms can be eaten, and vegetarian food such as bread crumbs and steamed bread is no problem. In short, it basically eats everything you eat, so I raise koi fish like a dog and give them the rest of the corn. If you feed too much, change the water frequently. The more you feed, the worse the water quality will be. How much feed is appropriate for a fish? I don't know. The general standard is that after you feed, koi fish will finish it soon, so you should feed more. If koi fish hasn't finished eating for five minutes, you've already fed a lot.

Koi fish doesn't need special lamps, but in order to sterilize, you can also buy lamps with sterilization effect and turn them on for an hour or two at night. I also have this device, but I can't see any direct effect, so I stopped using it for a while. Of course, this is not to say that this lamp is invalid (some hospitals also use this principle to sterilize), but I can't see it.

Seven, pool and water tank.
