Using the same flour, why are the steamed buns sold in the store particularly white and the homemade ones yellow?
The steamed bread sold in the store is particularly white, because whitening agent may be added to the flour they make steamed bread. Or special treatment is carried out after the steamed bread is steamed. That's why it looks very white, and it's normal to make it yellow at home. This only happens when normal flour is steamed. The steamed bread steamed from normal flour is not particularly white. Slight yellowing is normal.
