It is understood that through the field investigation in mid-February this year, National Cultural Heritage Administration believes that the Tangya Tusi site has a long history and is well preserved, with the authenticity of cultural heritage and high humanistic and economic value. At the beginning of March this year, National Cultural Heritage Administration updated the Preparatory List of World Cultural Heritage in China published in June165438+1October last year, and confirmed that the Tangya Tusi Site in Xianfeng, Hubei Province, the Laosicheng Site in Yongshun, Hunan Province and the Hailongtun Tusi Site in Zunyi, Guizhou Province formally jointly declared the World Cultural Heritage. On March 9 this year, the cultural relics bureaus of Hubei, Hunan and Guizhou provinces and the party and government leaders of various sites gathered in Changsha to hold the "First Joint Meeting on the Application for the Heritage of Tusi Site", which specially studied and deployed the joint application for the heritage, established the joint application mechanism, and determined the main responsibilities, rules of procedure and other important contents.
At present, Xianfeng county has taken the work of "applying for the World Heritage" as the strategic goal of "enhancing the popularity and influence of the experimental area for economic and social development of ethnic minorities in Wuling Mountain, creating a new tourist destination and cultural industry core in the eco-cultural tourism circle in western Hubei, and providing strong support for the construction of a strong cultural province in Hubei", and formulated the Work Plan for Applying for the World Cultural Heritage of Tangya Tusi City Site, which was divided into five key nodes and established seven tasks.
