Polyglutamic acid
Also known as γ-polyglutamic acid or poly-γ-glutamic acid, γ-PGA for short, polyglutamic acid is a polymer of glutamic acid, and its molecular weight can be as high as 1000kDa. With its special molecular structure, polyglutamic acid can be used as a fertilizer synergist in agriculture. Polyglutamic acid can effectively increase the nutrient absorption of crops, save fertilizer and increase efficiency, increase production and improve quality. Polyglutamic acid can obviously improve the utilization rate of chemical fertilizer, and the application in rice and corn fields can reduce the amount of chemical fertilizer 10%- 15%.
