Dendrobium candidum, also known as Dendrobium candidum, is the top grade of Dendrobium candidum. Main functions: anti-tumor, improving human immunity, treating gastrointestinal diseases, anti-aging, anti-oxidation, anti-platelet aggregation, lowering blood sugar and treating cataract.
According to the current Pharmacopoeia of China (version 20 10), Dendrobium officinale is used as a medicine, and its leaves, flowers and roots are not medicinal parts.
Dendrobium officinale flowers can be used as tea, and their main functions are regulating qi and calming nerves, nourishing blood and relieving depression.
The fresh leaves of Dendrobium candidum can be used as medicine or tea after being immobilized, kneaded and dried. Main functions; Nourishing yin and clearing away heat, promoting fluid production and relieving cough, and regulating stomach and intestines.
There are some controversies about the medicinal parts of Dendrobium candidum. As early as the Northern and Southern Dynasties, Tao Hongjing recorded in the Record of Famous Doctors that "stems were picked in January and August and dried in the shade", and later other herbs were also available. However, in the Yearbook of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Handbook of Chinese Herbal Medicine and some modern Chinese herbal medicine documents, Dendrobium is listed as a whole herb Chinese herbal medicine.
