Method for plan fennel in greenhouse in winter
for most people, fennel is not very familiar with it, and even has no influence. To put it bluntly, fennel is actually a spice, a food and a medicinal material. Therefore, it is still very useful, and many farmers choose to plant it to increase their income. So when and how did it grow?

1. Planting time

Fennel can be planted in two seasons, which are March and April in spring and September in autumn. It can also be planted in winter, but because the outdoor temperature is too low, it needs to be planted in greenhouse and the yield is not very high, so it is usually planted in spring and autumn, and the yield and quality are the best at this time.

2. Variety selection

There are many kinds of fennel, but only three kinds are the most common, namely anise, fennel and corm fennel. Anise is a tall plant with high yield, which is generally planted in Inner Mongolia. Foeniculum vulgare L. is short, but its fragrance is stronger than that of anise L. It is mainly planted in Beijing and other places in China. The bulbous fennel, as the name implies, will gather to form a ball when it grows to a certain extent, which grows fast and has high yield, but has a light taste.

3. Selecting land for planting

Generally, it is selected in sandy soil with complete soil structure, moderate soil pH and strong infiltration and drainage capacity. When turning over the land, make sure the depth is 35cm, then level the land, and apply about one kilo of organic fertilizer, fifty kilos of phosphate fertilizer and twenty kilos of urea to each acre. Finally, turn the land over again before sowing.

4. Seeding and seedling raising

Fennel sowing is flexible, which is suitable for soaking seeds one day before planting and then accelerating germination. The easiest way is to broadcast. Water the land before sowing, sprinkle it directly on it, and then cover it with a thin layer of soil and a layer of hay or film. You can also use furrow sowing in the same way as before, with a spacing of 15 to 2 cm between rows.

5. Field management

When fennel seedlings are four or five centimeters, they need to be replanted according to the survival rate, and weeding should also be carried out during this period. Then it was the first time to fertilize and water. One acre of land was mixed with one kilogram of farmyard manure, fifty kilograms of potash fertilizer and thirty kilograms of urea. The second fertilization is that when fennel grows to about 1 cm, 5 kg of farmyard manure, 1 kg of potash fertilizer and 5 kg of boron fertilizer can be added with a little Trim granular compound fertilizer, and at the same time, water it for the second time, with 5 g per plant.

6. Mature harvesting

Fennel can be harvested when it is about 3 cm high. Fennel can be harvested for many times or once. If you want high yield, you can be contacted to harvest it in batches, and you can cut it at a distance of three or four centimeters from the ground each time. Then apply fertilizer to promote growth.
