chemical composition
The whole grass contains toxic tryptamine, N, N- dimethyl tryptamine, N, N- dimethyl tryptamine oxide, 5- methoxy -N- methyl tryptamine, 5- methoxy -N, N- dimethyl tryptamine oxide and glyphosate [1- 3]. The seeds contain emodin methyl ether-1- glucosylrhamnoside [5], galactose and mannan [6].
