Save method:
Storage at room temperature: Keep pitaya directly indoors in a dark place. Pitaya can be stored at room temperature below 30℃ for 1-2 weeks because its peel is thick and its epidermis is protected by a layer of wax.
Refrigeration: Keep pitaya refrigerated. The indoor temperature should be controlled between 3-6 degrees and the relative humidity between 75% and 90%, and the pitaya can be stored for more than 1 month.
Preservation method of cut pitaya: If it is already cut pitaya, first completely wrap the exposed part of pitaya with plastic wrap. If the room temperature is below 25 degrees Celsius, it can be put outdoors now, but it is recommended to eat it within 8 hours to avoid breeding bacteria. If it needs to be stored overnight, pitaya should be kept in the freezer. It is generally recommended that the preservation time of cut pitaya should not exceed 2 days.
