2. Fertility
Seven days after the baby was born, the midwife bathed the baby and changed it into new clothes. Please ask the imam or elders to name the baby and "watch the full moon" by their neighbors. After the baby is 30 days old, go to grandma's house for the moon. After 100 days, people have the habit of "being over 100 years old".
3. Festivals
Hui people have Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha and holy days. Eid al-Fitr, also known as Eid al-Fitr, is celebrated in January before the festival. Every adult fasted and had two meals a day. Eid al-Adha is called "Eid al-Adha", and the Islamic calendar1February 10 is called "Eid al-Adha". Jihad, March 12 of the Islamic calendar is the day of Muhammad's birth and death. 4. Taboo
Hui people do not eat the meat of ruminants and fierce animals, and do not eat the blood of animals and the meat of dead animals. You should invite an imam or someone who knows the canon to slaughter the animals. You can't use backhand when pouring tea or water. Eat steamed buns after breaking them. Smoking and drinking are forbidden. It is forbidden to take off your hat when eating and urinate in mosques, graves and rivers. It is forbidden to ask for divination. Men are forbidden to have long hair, moustache and long nails.
5. Live and travel
Hui people live in natural villages, and each household has a small courtyard. 1949 years ago, ordinary people lived in civil bungalows, and some rich families lived in high-walled courtyards, all-wood bungalows or buildings. Since the reform and opening up, due to the increase of income, brick-wood tile houses are common. More Arabic pictures and hijri pictures are hung indoors. No portraits or animal paintings. Every family has buckets and soup bottles for bathing, and hot water is always available to clean hands and feet.
