Due to the lack of financial subsidies, many free-range farmers have gradually decreased and disappeared, because they earn a negligible amount of money based on the power of their cattle. I am definitely not trying to scare you with alarmist talk. So if you want to do a breeding farm, you first need to check whether you have strong funds, how many millions? Tens of millions? If you don't meet these conditions, you might as well find another job.

Breeding technology is the key. The biggest risk in the breeding industry is disease. If you don’t have strong technical skills, you should give up the idea as soon as possible. If you know only a little about technology or have some breeding experience, then you will be very risky and may go bankrupt at any time. You must hire high-skilled talents with high salaries so that your technology is guaranteed and the risk factor will be smaller. However, animal diseases develop rapidly, and viruses and bacteria mutate quickly, making it difficult for drugs to keep up. For example, this year's African swine fever, avian influenza and foot-and-mouth disease in previous years are difficult to prevent. Even vaccines have not been produced. How can we treat it in time? Therefore, the risk of disease in the breeding industry is indeed very high, so you must be mentally prepared.

Profits from the breeding industry have a great relationship with prices. There is no overall planning in China's breeding industry, and prices fluctuate too much, with highs and lows. So even if the animals you breed grow well, it's hard to say whether you can make money. It mainly depends on market conditions and sales.
