Tingle, also known as European tench, tench mandarin fish, and bearded fish. According to Western legend, sick fish can be cured by rubbing their bodies, hence the nickname doctor fish. It is a fish distributed in fresh water and soft water in Eurasia (from the British Isles in the west, to the Ob River and the Yenisey River in the east, to Lake Baikal in the south). It is the only species of the genus Tentin. Usually lives in slow-moving freshwater, especially in lakes and lower rivers.
