Green beans, also known as kidney beans, lentils and beans, are panicum miliaceum. In Quzhou, Zhejiang Province, it is called Qingming bean, in the north of China, it is called plum bean, and in some central China areas such as Sichuan, it is one of the common vegetables on the table.
