Preparation method of hay: 1. Ground drying method. Choose sunny and hot weather, spread the harvested grass on the grass with a thickness of 3 ~ 5cm, expose it to the sun for 4 ~ 5h, and pile the grass into small piles before the leaves begin to fall off (the water content is about 35%~40%). The size of the pile should be about 1 m in height and 1.5 m in diameter. When the moisture content drops to about 15% (take a handful of hay at will, shake or shake it in your hand and it will not break when you knead it in your hand), you can bundle it and store it in a big pile.
2. Straw shelf drying method. In humid areas or rainy seasons, hay can be prepared on specially made grass racks. Drying on the shelf can greatly improve the drying speed of pasture and ensure the quality of hay. Put the grass on the grass rack from top to bottom, the thickness should not exceed 70 cm, and keep fluffy and a certain slope to facilitate lighting and drainage.
