Time: 2: 00 a.m. 10.
Character: A 92-year-old dog
For Beijing, 3 am is actually a wonderful dividing line. The last batch of overtime workers will set foot on their way home; The first batch of breakfast shops have been put out; Most online car drivers began to set the destination of the drop-off list as their own residential area, and tourists preparing to watch the flag-raising in Tiananmen Square have arrived one after another.
For me, this point is also the dividing line-it is my midnight snack time. Before 3 o'clock, I will walk home in my car and swear never to eat supper. After 3 o'clock, I will happily watch my aunt prepare meals for me in the nearest McDonald's, basically every day. In fact, this also verifies a truth. Vows often only represent the ideals and determination of the swearing person, and they will not be thunderstruck as soon as they are broken, unless you believe that this article is knocked out by a dustpan of carbon powder.
Before I say McDonald's, I think it is necessary to introduce myself.
I am an old dog in 1992. I have no ideal pursuit since I was a child, but my only selling point is a little literature and art. How literary is it? Every day, I think about such ultimate philosophical questions as "Who am I", "Where do I come from" and "Where do I go". In fact, they are practical in life, especially the third one. Anyway, taxi drivers always ask me.
Get down to business. Today, as usual, at 2: 00 pm 10, I started from the company, driving everyday, swearing everyday, and McDonald's everyday. Holding the meal prepared by my aunt, I sat down in front of a window and began to observe the "guests" around me. There are a lot of information in this sentence, so let's explain them one by one. In fact, if you often visit McDonald's in the middle of the night, maybe there will be a knowing smile here.
Let's talk about it in two paragraphs. First of all, "Auntie" is really Auntie. I come to McDonald's almost only at night, so I have never seen the young lady in the advertisement who exudes fascination and mingles with children with two mini cones. All I contact are aunts who come to work at night shift. My aunts are very nice except that they won't mix with me with mini cones. They even gave me two pairs of chicken wings once.
Secondly, why do you want to choose a window seat and why do you want to put quotation marks on "guests"? Because the deeper you go into the restaurant, the more you feel out of place. I am a diner, but at 3 o'clock in the morning, there are very few people sitting here in this capacity. Looking closely, we can see that most of the "guests" have empty desks, and there are usually large and small cloth bags or other containers that can't see the material. These containers often contain all their belongings. A small number of "guests" will have a drink at their desks. These "guests" are often very absorbed in doing something, such as watching their mobile phones, writing things, and so on.
The most dedicated person I have ever met is a big brother who works in the lending center of a commercial bank. It was around 10 in the evening, and the big brother called one by one with several pages of lists. I took off my headphones and listened carefully. It was probably that the other party wanted to borrow 100W, but there was no deposit, no room and no car in his name. Finally, Big Brother frowned and asked if the other party had an account. If there was an account, he could do something. . . . . . I'm curious about what big brother can do, and I also want to talk to big brother and politely tell him that I also have an account, but I didn't dare later. And the reason why I rated him as the most dedicated "guest" is because I don't think I can really think of this way if I don't focus.
I like to observe all kinds of people and guess why they are here at this time. It's interesting. I have witnessed several pairs of underground love on campus, witnessed the madness of mental patients when they are ill, and the homeless who are boarding in restaurants can be seen most. Some people come here just to sleep, but others come here to survive.
I remember that it was still summer, and I was still sitting in the row of seats close to the window, eating and watching. Not far from me, in the same row, sat an old woman, looking around like me. At first I was a little confused, but later I realized that she was looking for the leftovers of the guests. There are very few McDonald's employees in the early hours of the morning. The staff at the counter are all three people, who order food, prepare meals and cook meals. Therefore, customers will leave their plates in their seats for a long time after eating food, and no one will clean them up. Grandma is just observing where there are guests who have just left, and she gets up to see if there is any food left on the plates.
Although I am an old dog, I know how to share. Looking at the two boxes of McNuggets left on my desk, I decided to give away one box (I admit that kindness is only part of the reason, and I really can't eat any more after eating two pineapple pies, one Mai Xiang chicken, one Shan Ji, one double cod fort and one box of French fries). I explained my purpose in the most sincere tone, and returned to my seat after handing out a box of chicken mcnuggets.
The picture I originally imagined was like this:
Warm and simple, although the essence is charity. It's a pity that grandma didn't give me this chance. From the time I delivered it to the time I left, five pieces of McNuggets were there intact. She would still check every plate left, and if she was lucky, she would get half a box of French fries. . Since then, I have never shared my food with any "guests". Maybe they are really embarrassed, but it is not my turn to give alms.
Like my title, the most common French fries burger in McDonald's is a luxury for the "guests" in the early morning. Bank brothers who are tired of contacting customers have no time to eat, men and women who are immersed in the world of love are also busy with sweet talk, and vagrants are really because they can't afford the price. I am lucky. I came to McDonald's in the early hours of the morning just to have dinner, and I deeply feel that I am really lucky. I don't need to bear the cost of any set meal on the menu in order not to disturb my family's work in a fast food restaurant late at night. I am even luckier for student couples who are immersed in campus love, because single dog will never be lovelorn.
I would like to talk about the unknown side of Beijing. You live in the daytime and I live at night.
