Soup dumplings are not the same as dumplings, the difference is here:
1. Different practices
According to the traditional practice, soup dumplings are wrapped, the surface is smooth and sticky; while the dumplings are rolled out, the surface is dry and fluffy.
2. Different fillings
Soup dumplings have more fancy fillings, in addition to the traditional five kernel, bean paste, peanuts, there are some flowers, coarse grains flavored, and even savory roasted pork with dried plums, mushrooms, fresh meat flavor; on the contrary, the flavor of the snacks are more uniform, mainly sweet, the more common is the flavor of black sesame, bean paste, peanuts.
The difference between wontons and wontons:
1. Wontons have thin skins with lots of fillings, and can be eaten with soup after cooking, which is easy to digest, so they are more popular; while wontons are a different kind of food, and their practice is different from that of wontons.
2. Wonton and wonton skin shape is different, wonton more than 8 centimeters by 8 centimeters square, wonton skin is 6 centimeters of the side of the square, or the bottom edge of the isosceles trapezoid about 7 centimeters long.
3. The materials used to make the outer skin are different, wonton skin is made of egg and flour, wonton skin is made of water and flour made of skin.
