Differences in production methods, ways of eating, taste and scope of application.
1. The production methods are different. Raw dried shrimps are fresh or semi-fresh shrimps that are air-dried to maintain their original taste and nutrition; while light-dried shrimps are cooked shrimps that are cooked in sea water, which contains more salt and has strong antiseptic properties.
2. The eating methods are also different. Raw shrimp skin needs to be fried or fried before consumption, and can also be used to make shrimp fried rice, shrimp fried noodles and other dishes; while weak shrimp skin can be directly soaked and used to make soup, porridge, stir-fry, etc.
3. The texture of raw dried shrimps is chewier and more fragrant; while the texture of light dried shrimps is softer and less chewy.
4. Raw dried shrimps are mostly used for frying and stir-frying; while light dried shrimps are mostly used for cooking soups and porridge.
