Prepare all the ingredients.

Wash and trim the fresh river shrimp.

In a soup pot, add water, green onion and ginger, cooking wine, seasoning, peppercorns and bring to a boil.

Pour in the river shrimp and cook for 2 minutes.

Add salt and continue to cook for 3 minutes.
