Whether the effect of reducing fever is good or not has a lot to do with whether the water is sufficient.
If the fever is below 38.5 degrees, you can do physical cooling at home. If the temperature exceeds 38.5 degrees, you should go to the hospital to prescribe antipyretics.
If you have a fever, take medicine. Although the temperature dropped at that time, if you don't pay attention to controlling your body temperature, it will rebound soon. It is no problem to feel uncomfortable after taking antipyretics. You must monitor your temperature. When your temperature is high, you must cool down physically. You can't just take antipyretics.
Under normal circumstances, if the fever temperature is below 38.5 degrees, use physical cooling methods, such as wiping the child's body with alcohol and taking a bath with warm water.
Take safe and effective antipyretics when the body temperature is above 38.5 degrees.
When your temperature drops below 38.5 degrees, continue to apply an ice pack to your forehead until your temperature returns to normal.
