Dendrobium globosum
The stem of Dendrobium globosum is upright or inclined, cylindrical, thick, 12-46 cm long and 7- 16 mm thick. The base is reduced to a thin cylindrical shape, unbranched, with several nodes, yellow-brown, shiny and several longitudinal edges. 3-4 leaves at the upper end of the stem alternate, leathery, oblong or oblong-lanceolate, 9- 16 cm long and 2.4-5 cm wide, with a sharp tip and a sheath at the base, but narrowed into a stalk about 6 mm long.
