At the beginning of 2004, Digidesign introduced ICON large mixer equipped with D-Control? What about D-Command? Console, Pro Tools | HD? Accel is the core processing part of DSP, and Pro Tools|HD audio interface handles the input and output part of audio. Since the product came out, thousands of professional music and post-processing studios around the world have purchased ICON integrated mixer.
Then in 2004, Digidesign announced the launch of VENUE, a professional mixing operation platform specially designed for live sound digital mixing environment, and entered the professional sound reinforcement market by virtue of Venue. Since the product came out, many world-class concert tours around the world have adopted the venue system, and soon all club clubs, product lovers and all A/V market users have chosen to use the venue system.
In August 2004, Avid acquired M-Audio, which is one of the major suppliers of digital audio and MIDI system solutions for electronic musicians and audio producers. Now M-Audio belongs to Digidesign, and its computer audio peripheral series, PCI sound card, keyboard controller, microphone, speaker, publishing software and patented sound library, together with Digidesin's award-winning digital audio workstation, will provide a better production system for professional fields and family and personal markets.
In 2005, Wizoo, a German virtual musical instrument design group, was merged into Avid's audio production family, and now it is the core of Digidesign's A.I.R group. R&D department has been committed to developing creative virtual musical instrument plug-ins suitable for Pro Tools system, with the focus on improving the comprehensive and reliable performance of products.
In 2006, Avid's audio production family added a new member Sibelius-the market leader of software development for professionals, teachers and students in the fields of music creation, teaching and/or music product release. Digidesign and M-Audio rely on the close connection of Sibelius in the education market to further expand the types and quantities of products that the company can provide for teachers and students.
