The two plants I saw on the roadside bear red pea-sized fruits. Does anyone know what kind of plants these are?

The first picture is "Lycium barbarum" (Wild Lycium barbarum). The red fruit is pointed and the whole plant is used as medicine. The young shoots are picked in spring and are called "wolfberry buds" for cooking and eating; the other plant is "Bai Ying" , small spherical red fruits, are also medicinal plants. Both belong to the perennial Solanaceae family. Search for details online.
