The gravity of the lead pendant is about greater than the buoyancy of the float. As long as the lead falls to the end, there is no need to adjust the float too carefully.
Although fish generally suck, small fish with small mouths suck very little. It can only suck smaller bait, and they can't do anything about the hook. So there is a phenomenon that a small fish has a nest and falls from the sky, but there is no response on the drift. This is the advantage of bad food traditional fishing over small mouth fish. I have been doing it for a long time. Friends might as well have a try.
