There are two prisons in Dazhou City. One is called 404, now known as Dazhou Prison. It is located in Group 6, Dongba Village, Luojiang Town, Tongchuan District, Dazhou City, close to National Highway 210, about 11 kilometers away from Dazhou City and 1.3 kilometers away from Luojiang Town.

The other one is called the Third Prison, later renamed Sichuan Province Chuandong Prison. It was founded in 1952 and is located in Dazhu County, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province at the intersection of National Highways 210 and 318.
