The Chinese New Year is coming soon. Let’s make snowflake cakes with various flavors. They are crispy, sweet, beautiful and delicious, and the whole family will love them. The Chinese New Year is just over ten days away. At this time every year, I start preparing to make some candies. Snowflake cakes are a must-have dessert. They are easy to make and my children love to eat them. In fact, I also love to eat them. I made four flavors this year. I like the refreshing taste of matcha, my children like the cocoa flavor, and my husband likes the original flavor. Each flavor has its own characteristics, crispy and sweet, and my family especially likes it, and it looks very nice. The taste of the year is getting stronger and stronger.
Snowflake Crisp
Original Snowflake Crisp butter 35g, 150g marshmallows, 45g milk powder, 60g dried fruit, 60g nuts, 180g biscuits.
Production method
1. To make snowflake puff pastry, you need to use low heat throughout the process. The fire should not be too high, otherwise it will easily burn. Put the butter in a non-stick pan and heat it over low heat until the butter melts. All melted.
2. Add the marshmallows and stir until the marshmallows are completely melted. One thing to note here is that you can buy as many marshmallows as you want at one time. If you don’t use them all at one time, they will easily harden and the finished product will be damaged. It won't taste good, then add the milk powder, stir evenly, and turn off the heat immediately.
3. Quickly pour in nuts, dried fruits, and biscuits. You can choose your favorite dried fruits and nuts.
4. Stir quickly a few times, it doesn’t matter if it is uneven. Put on disposable gloves and pull it back and forth a few times until it becomes even.
5. You can place it on baking paper, put another piece of baking paper on top, and press it flat with your hands. You can sprinkle milk powder on the surface and cut it into small pieces. That's it.
6. How to store it? You can put the snowflake cake in a bag and put it in the refrigerator. This way it will taste harder. If you like it softer, just put it at room temperature. It will last longer in the refrigerator. I bought small plastic bags of snowflake cakes, and put a small bag in each piece of snowflake cake, which makes it more convenient to eat.
