On July 1 day, Shenyang Agricultural Economic Commission held a field release activity on the bank of Hunhe River, the mother river of Shenyang, with the theme of "enhancing the awareness of protecting the ecological environment of the mother river and building a beautiful home where man and nature live in harmony", releasing a number of carefully selected, colorful and adaptable fine freshwater fish fry to Hunhe River. The event received strong support from relevant units and news media, and attracted more than a dozen media interviews and hundreds of people to participate. In recent years, under the leadership of the Provincial Department of Ocean and Fisheries, the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, the ecological environment protection of Hunhe River has made remarkable achievements through the unremitting efforts of the departments of aquatic products, environmental protection and water conservancy, and the improvement of water quality has provided a good place for the survival and reproduction of fish. At present, there are more than ten kinds of natural fish such as carp, crucian carp, silver carp, bighead carp, catfish, snakehead, striped fish and wheat ear fish in the urban section of Hunhe River, and there are also broad-finned flounder that often live in clean waters, which shows that the water quality in the urban section of Hunhe River is suitable for the survival of most indigenous fish and creates favorable conditions for further restoring the ecological environment of Hunhe River. Replenishing a large number of fry through releasing activities will directly increase the fish population size and biodiversity of Hunhe River, purify the water quality and aquatic environment, expand the landscape effect of Hunhe River, and promote the coordinated development of tourism and man and nature in Shenyang.

The release of fish from Hunhe River marks a historic breakthrough in the ecological construction of Hunhe River in Shenyang, and marks the harmonious development between man and nature and the great achievements in building a civilized society in Shenyang. The purpose of this activity is to further enhance the social awareness of protecting fishery resources and caring for the ecological environment, and once again demonstrate Shenyang's determination to implement the strategy of sustainable development, promote coordinated economic and social development, and achieve harmony between man and nature.

The urban section of Hunhe River in Shenyang is 3 1 km long and covers an area of 44.6 square kilometers. It is planned to release 30,000 kilograms of various fish, about 300,000 fish. Today, it is mainly released in the section from cheung tsing bridge to Wulihe River, with a quantity of 500 kilograms, about 5,000 fish, worth 1 10,000 yuan. The species are silver carp, silver carp and silver carp. We will continue to implement the Hunhe fish release plan in the future.

The fish release plan implemented today is only the beginning of the ecological construction of the Hunhe River.
