The recipe of Guangdong mugwort is as follows:
Materials: mugwort leaves, glutinous rice flour, sugar, peanuts, oil, etc.
1. Clean the moxa and boil a pot of water. After the water boils, pour the washed moxa into the pot and let out some water. After boiling, pick it up and wash it twice in clean water to remove the astringency.
2. After washing, boil the moxa again. The amount of water should be enough to cover the moxa. After the water boils, pour in 40 grams of water and continue cooking without covering the pot. Cook until the leaves turn rotten when gently pinched with your hands, then pick them up.
3. Put the moxa into the glutinous rice flour while it is hot and knead it. If the water is not enough, add water (70 grams, add it one at a time). After adding the water, if the powder is still not soft enough, you can add the water used to boil the moxa and knead it into powder.
4. Take the moxa to be crushed in a food processor. In fact, you don’t need to beat the boiled moxa, you can just rub it vigorously.
5. After kneading, divide the filling into portions and press it with a mold. After the moxa is boiled, knead it into powder while it is hot. Add the moxa water and heat it as well.
6. Apply a layer of oil to the steaming tray, put the mugwort in the steaming tray and steam for about 40 minutes, then it is ready to be cooked.
