Planting techniques
Sunshine: pea shoots are half-hardy vegetables, preferring a mild and cool environment, but do not tolerate high temperatures and dryness. Pea seedlings are the shoots of peas, peas are a kind of plants with long sunshine, sufficient light is good for early flowering, but if you want to collect seedlings, you need proper shade.
Temperature: pea seedlings sprouting temperature of 18 to 23 ℃ ℃.
Potting options: pea seedlings can be planted in plastic or glass panels.
Soil: home grown pea seedlings generally choose hydroponics, no soil.
Watering: pea seedlings need a medium humidity cultivation environment.
Fertilizing: pea heads mainly pick the young leaves of the pea plant for food, so try not to fertilize.
Pest control: reduce pests.
Daily Maintenance
Don't choose moths and impurities. A handful of plump peas. Soak peas in water for 24 hours.
Dampen cotton or white cloth with water and lay the soaked pea seeds inside the cultivation container.
Keep the temperature at 18-23 degrees Celsius. Seeds are sprayed with water 2-3 times a day and kept in darkness.
After 2-3 days, pea shoots can grow to 30-40 mm. At this time, you can place the culture container in a place with bright diffused light for maintenance. Pay attention to spray water 2-3 times a day and keep the humidity at about 80%.
When the pea seedling grows to 10~12cm high, the top compound leaves are just open, and the pea seedling is yellowish green, which needs to be harvested in time. Use scissors to cut off the buds on the seasonal tips.
Cultivation experience
Pea seedlings can be soil-grown, but the time period is longer, and soil cultivation can be more pods to eat. Comparatively speaking, pea seedlings are more suitable for home hydroponics, the cycle is short, the planting method is simple, and the benefits are high.
