Foreword
I’m a little tired of making cakes and steamed buns out of bean dregs. Today I searched Haodou and saw some friends making steamed buns, so I quickly tried it!
Materials
Main ingredients: 200g bean dregs, 300g flour, 200g cornmeal;
Accessories: 5g yeast, 5g sugar
Bean dregs steamed buns
1
1. Pour the bean dregs, flour and cornmeal into the basin;
2
2. Use appropriate amounts of yeast and sugar Dissolve the warm water, then add it into a basin and mix it into a dough for fermentation;
3
3. Wait until the dough ferments until there are honeycomb holes, and then divide it into evenly sized pieces;
4
4. Shape the dough into a steamed bun shape, then steam it for 15 minutes;
5
5 .Turn off the heat and simmer for 3 minutes before taking it out.
Tips
Add an appropriate amount of water when kneading the dough, because there is water in the okara. The dough does not need to double in size during fermentation because the steamed buns are still a little chewy to taste.
