Teething sticks that can be eaten by babies
Recipe
Arowana pastry uses 120 grams of wheat flour, 50 grams of whole egg liquid, 10 grams of corn oil, and powdered sugar 20 grams, 5 grams of black sesame seeds, a pinch of baking soda (optional), and brush the surface with a little egg wash.
Method
1. Beat the eggs, add vegetable oil, stir and melt the powdered sugar, add black sesame seeds
2. Sift in the low flour and stir with a spatula. Knead with your back hand, don't over-knead the dough, the dough should be neither sticky nor very hard.
3. After the dough has risen for 30 minutes, roll it out to a thickness of 5 mm and cut it into a width of about 1 cm.
4. Twist it a few times and place it on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Brush with egg wash and bake on the middle layer at 180 degrees for 20 minutes
Tips
If it feels difficult to twist, don’t worry, wait until everything is put in, and then start shaping from the first one , as the relaxation time lengthens, it can be twisted and straightened. This process takes about 15 minutes and requires two to three times of shaping.
