There are often drugs named after people's names in traditional Chinese medicine, which are often different. In fact, they are all from the legend of efficacy. For example, there are two kinds of original plants of the drug "Liu Yinu". The whole grass of Artemisia scoparia in Compositae is produced in the south, and the whole grass with fruit is produced in the north of Scrophulariaceae. This grass actually exists in the south.

According to "Kaibao Materia Medica", the efficacy of Liu Yinu: "Liu Yinu treats gold sores, stopping bleeding is the main medicine, and postpartum diseases, bleeding and pain relief." Modern clinical research has confirmed that Liu Yinu is used externally to treat burns, and washing the wound with Liu Yinu decoction can diminish inflammation and relieve pain when traumatic bleeding occurs.
