The origin of Qingming fruit is as follows:

Legend has it that one year during the Qingming Festival, Chen Taiping, the powerful general of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom's "Loyal King" Li Xiucheng, was chased by the Qing soldiers, and a farmer who plowed the fields nearby came forward to help him by disguising himself as a farmer and plowing the fields together with himself. He disguised Chen Taiping as a farmer and ploughed the land with himself. Having failed to capture Chen Taiping, the Qing soldiers did not let up, so they set up guards in the village, and every person leaving the village was inspected to prevent them from bringing food to Chen Taiping.

After returning home, the farmer was pondering what to bring Chen Taiping to eat when he stepped on a clump of mugwort and slipped, only to see his hands and knees stained with a greenish color when he got up. He immediately thought, and quickly picked some mugwort home, washed and boiled to squeeze the juice, kneaded into the glutinous rice flour, made a rice ball. Then he put the green dumplings in the green grass, and mixed them with the sentries at the entrance of the village.

Chen Taiping ate the green dumplings and found them fragrant, sticky and not sticky. After dark, he bypassed the Qing sentries and returned safely to his base camp. Later, Li Xiu Cheng ordered the Taiping army to learn how to make green dumplings to protect themselves from the enemy, and the custom of eating green dumplings spread.

Introduction of Qingmingguo:

Chingmingguo is shaped like a dumpling, but the flavor is very different. The skin of Qingming fruit is made of a plant called Ai leaf, Ai, a perennial herb with small yellow flowers and small leaves shaped like a daisy plant, which are born in tufts and clusters.

Every year before the Qingming Festival, women hand-held bamboo baskets, groups of three or five to the fields joyfully picking mugwort leaves, green fresh mugwort leaves full of piles in the basket, very nice and attractive. After picking the leaves home, they began the complicated process of making Qingming fruit, women and like a magician, green grass in the blink of an eye into a delicious Qingming fruit.
