I really like the fireworks here. Hechuan is a satellite city of Chongqing, and its environment has many similarities with the main city of Chongqing. Chongqing is the confluence of the Yangtze River and Jialing River, the mother city is located in Yuzhong Peninsula, and Hechuan City is located at the intersection of Qujiang River, Fujiang River and Jialing River. The difference is that the mother city is not in the fishing city peninsula, but the ancient battlefield fishing city and the century-old street Dongduchang on the peninsula. The old street is not very big, but it is only five or six hundred meters long. It's a bluestone street, with a brick-wood structure and blue tile houses on both sides. Compared with the traditional scaffolding house in eastern Sichuan, it has a more stable structure and richer details.
Different from other old towns in Hechuan, Caojiezi Old Street has been turned into a tourist attraction, clean and tidy, and the century-old stage has also been renovated. In addition, the old pier on the Jialing River, the educator Tao Xingzhi Memorial Hall, the former site of Yucai School not far away, and the Drum Tower Temple have all formed a complete tourist route, and the landscape is quite rich, which is very suitable for short-distance leisure tourism. But unfortunately, there are not many tourists in Caojie, and most shops are closed. Walking in the old street, I can't see a figure. The whole old street is empty, not to mention tourists, even local villagers. Occasionally, there is a companion's call, and even an echo can be generated.
With the progress of society and the improvement of urbanization level, Qingshiban Road and scaffolding houses are gradually withdrawing from the historical stage. For example, Hechuan Shengli Street and Centennial Old Street are located in Xianglong Town, Hechuan District, the northernmost part of Hechuan, bordering Yuechi County and Huaying, Sichuan, and on the east bank of Qujiang. Shengli Street is a traditional old street in the east of Sichuan and Chongqing. This is a road paved with stones. Judging from the degree of wear, this stone should have been renovated in recent years. The street is very wide, reaching six or seven meters. On both sides of Shiban Street are scaffolding houses with civil structures, which are the structures of the houses behind the shops in front. Most doors have windows for selling goods. Judging from the width of the street and the structure of the shed, Shengli Street used to be a bustling old street.
