How to stir-fry rice cakes with vegetables?
1. Slice the whole rice cake. I use Ningbo rice cake. This baby naturally thinks that the rice cake in his hometown is the best. Of course, you can also buy the rice cake in pieces directly, so as not to cut it.
2. Wash the vegetables, shred them and set aside.
3. Put oil in the pot and heat it. This step is optional, depending on your preferences. I will put a small amount of oil in the pot and bake the rice cake, so that it bulges and browns a little, so that it will feel more chewy when fried later (it's just a personal preference, you can ignore it or curious babies can try it).
4. Put a lot of oil in the pot and stir-fry the rice cake, that is, it is better to have more oil. After the oil is hot, add the vegetables and stir-fry for a while, and then add the rice cake and stir-fry together for a while.
5. Put some water in a small bowl, pour it into the pot for frying rice cakes, and continue to stir fry until the water is almost absorbed by rice cakes and vegetables. Then add salt, monosodium glutamate or chicken essence, and stir fry for a while to get out of the pot.
6. If you like to eat tender food, fry it less for a while, and if you like a little burnt baby, fry it more for a while, but I think it's better either way. This simple dish can really last for several days, anyway, I think so.
