Baotanicals or manna seeds, formerly known as grass stoneworms, also known as the "ground ring"

Baotanicals belong to the Labiatae family of perennial rooted plants. The underground rhizome is spiral-shaped, brittle and fiberless, and can be used to make pickles. This product is a native of China, distributed throughout the region, cultivated in low wetlands near the water. The stems, leaves and roots are used medicinally.

Composition The whole herb contains silymarin, choline and silymarinose. The roots contain protein, fat, fructose, amino acids, fructanine, fenugreek alkaloids.
