The adult size can reach eight meters and weighs more than 1.4 tons. The devil fish belongs to the family of manta rays mouth wide, body flat and wide diamond-shaped, tail long and thin, part of the species tail with poisonous spines. 2, distribution range. Devilfish are mainly distributed in the warm temperate zone and tropical along the mainland and island sea area, China's East China Sea, the South China Sea and the coast of Taiwan. Batfish are distributed in shallow to deep sea areas in tropical or temperate zones.
3. Predation method. Devilfish are filter feeders, so when feeding they will stretch their cephalic fins outward around their mouths, which are used to introduce water currents and small plankton into their huge square mouths in order to filter feed through their pinnate gills. Batfish don't have such a large mouth as devil fish, so it's all one bite at a time.
