Part 1

My specialty is cooking. I learned to cook because I like the feeling inside when I cook, and I often cook for my parents at home.

My first attempt at cooking was scrambled eggs when I was eight years old. My mother was cooking in the kitchen at the time, and I saw how busy she was and decided to try it myself. My mom taught me how to crack and stir eggs, and then I started scrambling my own eggs. Although my scrambled eggs were a little mushy, I was still happy with my results.

Now I have learned how to make many dishes, such as braised pork, steamed fish, stewed soup, etc. Every time I cook at home, my family will praise me for the delicious food. I also share my cooking with my friends and they all like it very much.

The reason I love cooking is because I love seeing the satisfied expressions on my family and friends’ faces when they eat what I cook. It gives me a sense of accomplishment.

My specialty is cooking. I learned to cook because I loved seeing the satisfaction on people's faces when they ate the food I cooked.

When I started, I didn’t know how to cook, but I was eager to learn. I read a lot of cooking books and gradually mastered the methods of various dishes by watching instructional videos on the Internet. I also often take cooking classes and learn various cooking techniques from professional chefs.

Now, I can skillfully cook various dishes, including roast chicken, fried rice, sweet and sour pork ribs, etc. It makes me very proud that my family and friends appreciate the food I cook every time.
