Pueraria lobata, also known as Ge Fen, is a traditional Chinese medicine. Taking Pueraria lobata powder can relieve static pain, has good conditioning and treatment effects on nervous headaches such as hypertension and coronary heart disease, and also has anti-inflammatory, antiallergic, antiviral and diabetic complications. Taking kudzuvine root powder also has antioxidant, anticancer, anti-aging and anti-tumor therapeutic effects. However, there are some taboos during taking Pueraria lobata powder, such as not eating spicy food, quitting smoking and drinking, and not drinking strong tea and coffee.
2. Who should not eat Pueraria lobata:
(1) Severe cold and dampness:
Pueraria lobata is high in nutrients, but it belongs to cold food. People with cold body and heavy humidity will aggravate the accumulation of cold in the body after eating, which is easy to cause physical discomfort. Therefore, people with heavy cold and dampness should not eat Pueraria lobata, but should eat and drink some hot ingredients and tea material, such as longan, hawthorn, walnuts, peanuts, almonds, black tea and oolong tea.
(2) Patients with hypotension:
Pueraria lobata contains Pueraria lobata, which can dredge meridians and lower human blood pressure, so patients with hypotension are not suitable for eating Pueraria lobata. The treatment of hypotension mainly depends on healthy life and diet therapy. It is suggested to eat more foods used as raw materials and medicinal materials, such as Tianqi stewed chicken, ginseng stewed lean meat and angelica stewed mutton.
(3) Patients with hypoglycemia:
Patients with hypoglycemia should not eat Pueraria lobata at ordinary times, because Pueraria lobata can lower blood pressure and blood sugar at the same time, so patients with hypoglycemia should not eat Pueraria lobata.
