nutritional ingredients
spinach is known as a "nutrition model student", which is rich in carotenoids, vitamin c, vitamin k, minerals (calcium, iron, etc.), coenzyme Q1 and other nutrients.
How to eat
It can often be used for cooking soup, cold salad, single stir-frying, and mixed stir-frying or saucer with meat dishes. It is better to have dark green color, red roots, no water, no old stems and leaves, no bolting and flowering, and no yellow rotten leaves.
Common practices include chicken wings and golden needle spinach soup, spinach porridge, egg spinach cake, spinach nest eggs and so on.
Suitable for people
1. Edible: It is suitable for patients with hemorrhoids, hematochezia, habitual constipation, scurvy, hypertension, anemia, diabetes, night blindness and those with rough, allergic and loose skin.
2. Avoid eating: People suffering from urinary calculi, stomach deficiency and cold, loose stools, weakness of spleen and stomach, weak renal function, nephritis and kidney calculi should not eat more or avoid eating.
Taboos
Spinach can't be eaten with cucumber: cucumber contains vitamin C-decomposing enzymes, while spinach is rich in vitamin C, so it is not suitable for them to be eaten together.
Spinach should not be eaten with foods with high calcium content such as milk.
Spinach can't be eaten with tofu: because spinach contains a lot of oxalic acid, while tofu contains calcium ions. Once the calcium in spinach and tofu is combined, it will cause stones and affect the absorption of calcium.
spinach is not suitable for frying pig liver: pig liver is rich in metal elements such as copper and iron. Once it is combined with spinach with high vitamin C, metal ions can easily oxidize vitamin C and lose its nutritional value. Animal liver, egg yolk and soybean are all rich in iron, so it is not suitable to eat with amaranth and spinach containing more oxalic acid. Because both cellulose and oxalic acid will affect the absorption of iron in the above foods.
spinach can't be eaten with soybeans. If eaten with soybeans, it will inhibit the release of copper, leading to poor copper metabolism.
spinach can't be eaten with calcium tablets. Spinach is rich in oxalic acid, and oxalate ions are easy to form calcium oxalate precipitation after binding with calcium in the intestine, which not only hinders the absorption of calcium by human body, but also easily forms stones.
