Bird's nests are nests built by swiftlet nests to feed their next generation, and resemble a half oval spoon. There is only one type of swiftlet that can make edible bird's nests, and there is only one type of bird's nest, the Golden Bird's Nest.
This is the swiftlet and its nest that lives in our swiftlet farm's swiftlet house. When the baby swallows grow up and fly out of the swiftlet house, the swiftlets do not want to have this nest anymore, they come back at night and hang themselves on this special wooden board, which is a special board for house swallows, but the swiftlets are crippled and can't stand, so they will just hang on the board like a bat. The next time the eggs are hatched, they will build a new nest for the newborns.
The flightless swiftlet grows up and hangs outside the nest.
The hairy swallows are picked and not processed.
The left side is the white bird's nest inside the cave, which is stained red by the iron of the cave wall, and the right side is the white swiftlet which is artificially dyed and turned into a red blood bird's nest.
