Cassava belongs to the genus Cassava in the family Euphorbiaceae, also known as sweet potato, sweet potato. Common varieties are South China 8, South China 7, bread cassava, yolk cassava and so on. Native to Brazil, now widely distributed in tropical areas around the world.
