On the way to school on Monday, Tom met Huck, a street child, and made an appointment with him to take a dead cat to the cemetery in the middle of the night to find the dead grave of the bad guys. Then ghosts will come and take away the bad guys who just died. They will throw the dead cat behind the ghosts and say a few words at the same time to cure all the warts on their bodies. People in the town called "witches" told Huck how to cure warts.

However, the ghost didn't come that night, but they witnessed a thrilling murder: they saw Joe, an Indian who killed people without blinking an eye, Potter who loved to drink, and Robinson, a young doctor with lanterns, robbing the tomb.

After the robbery, Injun Joe and Robinson quarreled and fought with some things before because of money. As a good friend of Injun Joe, Potter saw Injun Joe being knocked to the ground, immediately dropped his knife, ran to Robinson and fought. Suddenly, the doctor got rid of the entanglement, grabbed the heavy stone on the cemetery and threw it at Potter. Porter fainted. Injun Joe picked up the knife on the ground, looking for a chance to stab Robinson in the chest, and put the life-threatening knife in the hand of his partner Potter. When Potter woke up, he mistakenly thought he had killed the doctor.

Tom and Huck were so frightened that they wrote a bloody book and vowed never to tell it, lest it get out and be killed by Injun Joe. But later, for the sake of justice and inner freedom from torture, he came forward to testify and saved the innocent Potter.

The second adventure: three little pirates set sail.

Tom worships pirates very much. In his eyes, pirates are not evil and greedy bad guys, but good people who do heroic deeds. They robbed the greedy rich to help the poor. Tom and Joe were scolded by their parents. They once thought that no one in the world cared about and loved them, so they found Huck, took food to the Mississippi River, found a small raft, and rowed it downstream to Jackson Island as a pirate.

They ate, drank, danced and fished on the island to satisfy their hunger. After a few days, they were homesick, but no one was embarrassed to say it. One night, Tom sneaked home, hid under Polly Menstruation's bed and eavesdropped on Polly Menstruation's conversation with Joe Harper's mother. They all thought that their child had drowned, so the people in the town decided to hold a funeral for them this Sunday.

Tom sneaked back to the island and told the news to their partner. On Sunday morning, people in the town held a funeral for the children in the church. Just when people were sad, three missing children suddenly appeared in the church, which surprised the whole town, crying and laughing.

The third adventure: looking for treasure

One day Tom suddenly had the idea of looking for treasure and asked Huck to dig the treasure left by pirates. They dug under a dead tree and found nothing. Huck and Tom decided to dig in another place. They came to the haunted house, where Injun Joe and another man happened to be. The two children were so scared that they quickly squatted on the floor upstairs, looked down through the gap and saw their money.

When Injun Joe and the stranger found Tom and Huck's treasure-digging tools, they became wary and decided to go upstairs to see if anyone was there. Tom and Huck were frightened. When Injun Joe and the stranger went up the first stairs, the stairs broke, so they stopped going upstairs and discussed how to transfer the treasure.

Huck was responsible for tracking Injun Joe and found the second room of the inn where he was hiding. One night, Tom ventured into Injun Joe's room to look for treasure, and almost stepped on Injun Joe's arm, scaring Tom and Huck away. Injun Joe was drunk and didn't notice.

The fourth adventure: Tom and Becky are trapped in a cave.

Becky's mother is going to hold a picnic for Becky. Becky invited the children in the town to attend. Everybody come to McDougall Cave to play. The holes are criss-crossed like a maze. The children were curious about this mysterious cave and decided to go in and have a look.

Children are playing in caves and gathering in different directions. But Tom and Becky are lost. Tom has only a small cake on him. He tried to leave the food to Becky. Tom, who likes adventure, takes Becky everywhere, but he can't find the exit. Becky was almost desperate. Tom patiently comforted Becky not to give up and kept looking for an exit.

In the process of finding the exit, Tom met the murderer Injun Joe. At this time, Injun Joe was frightened and ran away after hearing something. Tom finally found an exit with his wisdom.

The fifth adventure: looking for treasure again

Tom told Huck Bridge that the treasure was still hidden in the cave. After discussion, they decided to venture back to the cave to find the treasure, and finally found the treasure under the rock engraved with the cross.
